I couldn't give Dr. Kalva anything less than a 5 if I tried. He helped me exhaust all treatment options for my illness until surgery was a requirement from failing so many treatments. He is knowledgeable in fields beyond his specialty and has advocated for me on multiple occasions with other specialty doctors and personally visited me during hospital stays. He is extremely intelligent vs other GI docs I've encountered (many). I'd recommend him to anyone. Good beside care, expert at his craft.
