Diner food at diner prices It's diner food for sure. Hello instant taters and lovely canned gravy....complete with lumps. The food is hot when it hits your table and the portions are filling. The restaurant is clean and the service quick. But its really nothing overly special just a nice break from fast food. It is pretty family friendly and they don't pass out if your kids spill food all over the floor. Pros: cheap eats, clean bathrooms Cons: no baby changing station in the bathroom
RecommendedCute little old town feel restaurant. Makes you feel at home, has amazing breakfast, my favorite is the French toast plate.:) but they have great options in there menu, 5/5 recommend. Enjoy
Been going to Kalico for a couple years, now. I understand that the transition to delivery for them has been rough, but this takes the cake. I asked for a soft-boiled egg when ordering through DoorDash and received this. It looks like they actually cracked an egg open and boiled it in water. Definitely not eating this, and it will be a while before I consider ordering from them again.
Crispy chicken salad was yummy.
We are from out of town, and stopped here on a whim. My hubby , myself and our 7 year old little guy. We hit the jackpot!! Super yummy food, at super awesome prices!! This will be the only place we eat when coming to Chico from now on!! Thanks guys!
