Had an ER visit in August of 2022. They NEVER billed my insurance and also NEVER sent me a bill. It is now August of 2025 (3 years later) and I get a random notice from a collection agency for a $1,447.00 bill. Try and call Kzoo Emergency Assoc and it just rings and rings- no one ever answers. Will never use Borgess ER again since that is the hospital they are affiliated with. If I could give ZERO starts, I would.
My 2023 emergency room visit should have been covered 100%. They failed to submit the bill to my insurance company in a timely manner and instead sent it collections with no prior written notice. They have ruined my exceptional credit score with their fraudulent billing practices. I’m currently disputing the collection and will be reporting them to BBB as well as Attorney General.
Never been to this place I just looked at my credit and it went down a 161 points because they say I owe 1,853 this is criminal! You should be ashamed of yourselves
my girlfriend has never been here before but she got a debt collection form here for no reason, and when i try to contact them it they never respond
