Went in to buy tires and ask for a quote, guy politely asked for my personal info, I politely asked if we could skip the personal info part and just give me a quote, guy yells at me saying I need to give him the info he asks for or else no quote. I left. Idk what his problem was but there’s no need to get angry over asking for a quote. He calms down as I’m halfway out the door and says the same thing in a calm tone. Lol what a joke. I was a couple of hours away from my destination when I had a flat tire and visited Kal Tire in Scarborough on Kingston street. I was received by Richie who was very kind and managed to get me an appointment within an hour to fix the issue. Once the car was checked and the repairs were not possible to do due to age of tire, the team replaced the tire with the spare one I had so as to get to my destination. Had an emergency and they were able to squeeze me in for an impromptu appointment. Appreciated the excellent service and care given by the staff
Spent $4000 on new winter tires + rims + sensors. Left the store the sensors were not working and couldn’t get a hold of them after 1hr on hold. Ended up taking the car back to Kaltire and it took them over 2 hrs to fix the sensor issue. When I got in touch with their central customer service, I was told that since the issue was resolved, there was nothing else they could do for me.
