I would not recommend Dr. Gopalswamy. For the duration of my appt, she had confused me with a different patient of hers, and had to edit all of the information she inputted into her computer. She seemed a bit disorganized and rushed. What was more concerning was her front office did not process my insurance information after they accepted it and informed me that I was covered. Dr Gopalswami cut my seizure medications off without giving me good reason or adequate time to find another physician. She referred me to other specialities that questioned her judgement and told me to find another Dr. When other Drs. question the judgement of your primary care Dr. it's a big red flag. I have been going to GW for forty and some years and I have never been disappointed. The only thing I do not like is the in/out doctors. I see a new dr every year.
She is kind , professional & understanding what patient needs with good manner & good listening attitude.
