Worst psychiatrist I have received treatment from. Her lack of care highlights how a bad diagnosis can be hard to overcome. I was under Dr. Patel's care for depression following a cancer diagnosis.I had had previous psychiatric issues that resulted in hospitalization and a battery of tests in the early 90's. I've been a pattern of Dr. Patel's for a year. She has been very informative and thorough with establishing a med regime for my depression and anxiety. When I've had any questions and called the office, she has always availed herself, even once calling when she was on vacation with her family. If you are in need of psychological advice, she's the one you want to ask for help, she's very knowledgeable about prescribed medications. Also, her staff is professional and friendly in their interactions with patients.

Not at all pleased with Dr Patel. First appointment was via Zoom. She seemed very dismissive of information being provided, said she would follow up with an in-person appointment and we have heard nothing from her or her office since November 2020. My wife was extremely disappointed and has made arrangements to establish another primary care doctor.
