Wish I saw the reviews before giving Kaiser Mental Health a shot. Worst mental health department I've ever experienced dealing with Incredibly difficult to get into contact with, they don't allow you to schedule random phone screenings - so if you miss it, tough. And worst of all, they rely on outdated manuals with incorrect information as an excuse to refuse medication for those who need help Kaiser is not equipped to help patients with mental health issues. I was referred to this office for a class on different behavioral health techniques people can use to alleviate anxiety challenges. I enjoyed learning and receiving materials both digitally and in hard copy format. As I’m still a beginner in this field, I have work to do to understand what the different techniques can do for me. Why can’t I give zero stars? This is not a mental health care facility! They are causing detrimental and potentially irreversible damages to their patients! I don’t know how this place is still being allowed to do business. They take no notes and apparently don’t document their interactions with their patients, including things like asking a patient to ween off medications and start new ones, all related to depression & anxiety without making any note of that in the system or following up on how the patient is doing.
