My family care physician at Smokey Point, Dr. Ly, always listens to me carefully. She makes me feel like I am a valued patient. She treats me like an equal and never talks down to me. I would recommend her to anyone. Her LPN, Christine gave me a flu shot and I hardly felt the needle go in. Usually they just jam it in, but she put it in very lightly and I hardly even felt it. Kaiser Permanente failed in so many ways. I felt like cattle getting processed as quickly as possible. Doctor was very personable but limited in what she's permitted to do, such as only spending 20 minutes (timed and recorded), review my questionnaire responses while on the clock (taking up precious little time), and only permitted to address one concern.
