Dr. Ahumada waited until I drove over 40 miles to get to my appointment to cancel my appointment right as I'm a block away, my appointment was at 9:45 and I get a cancelation call at 9:20 as I'm already in Downtown Sacramento after driving all the way from Sheridan. Not to mention I was hospitalized recently and have been in a very horrible mental state and really needed that appointment, I waited over 6 weeks for this appointment, and they tried to reschedule me for 7 more weeks from now. Dear Kaiser Permanente, What in the world is “evidenced-based mental health care” ???? I personally don’t think blaming an increase for mental health care on the pandemic is the honest truth. I personally attempted to get a new mental health care Dr when I relocated to the Roseville area in 2018 and was “denied” access to a new mental health care doctor!!
