My mother has been a patient for 25 yrs. The last 15 have been the worst. Temporary practitioners come and leave after 3 months including Psychiatrists. She still as of today has waited for 3 months to get refills on two meds. Why? People fall through the cracks, doctors make bucks and Kaiser flourishes. It’s really hard to watch your mother go from semi normal to sleeping all day and not eating and stressed.
I have a pretty awesome therapist. I super appreciate her patience with me😊
47 year old male who has struggled since child hood. Diagnosed dislexic and adhd and my counselor I’ve been seeing for years agrees I’m on the spectrum. My counselor is not with Kaiser to be clear. This is not about him. Kaiser Roseville mental health continues to earn its 1 star reviews. I Am adhd and on the spectrum with anxiety and mdd. All they do is push a bipolar diagnosis. I am amazed that Kaiser is still able to operate with the way they manage patient care. Their mental health services are unethical, at best. My son and I have had NOTHING but issues receiving treatment, and if we do receive treatment, it is severely lacking and not evidence or trauma-based. The psychiatrists, as well, are extremely rude and unhelpful.
DOCUMENT ALL CONVERSATIONS HERE. Bring a trusted friend to be a witness. I experienced stigma and poor treatment during my visit. When I advocated for myself, I was treated as if I were overreacting or crazy. The employee who evaluated me rolled their eyes when I asked them to please review my past records, as they were working from incorrect information.
