Kaiser as a whole has been a headache for my mental health treatment. The intake appointment I had with my psychiatrist to be diagnosed went 1 minute over the allotted time, which landed me an ~$80 extra charge. The extra minute was because the psychiatrist was taking my info to have medication be delivered to my house, however the psychiatrist never even ordered the medication, and I only found out after 2 weeks and 4 follow-up phone calls to Kaiser. I have been to a lot of pharmacies in my life. This pharmacy, at Kaiser Rancho Bernardo, is always efficient and fast and the staff is consistently kind.
This pharmacy has been very hit and miss. The first few times I have gone there the experience has been very smooth and pleasant. When I went in today to pick up some meds for an ear infection the staff was extremely rude. They didn’t have the medication I needed from the doctor. I asked for it to be transferred. I was met with a lot of attitude from the staff. It was all unnecessary and overall a very unpleasant experience.
I have always found the staff to be courteous and helpful.
