Kaiser Permanente refuses to give me the patient access to my test results, lab results, or medical records. Kaiser Permanente has been openly refusing to give me (the patient) access or copies of my medical records in accordance with 45 CFR § 164.524 also known as Federal HIPAA Law. The release of medical information department will only give access of my medical records to a 3rd party like kp.org instead of me the patient. Whom the records legally belong to! In my experience over the past six years, Dr. Lisa Cheung has exemplified the role of a personal physician above and beyond superficial pleasantries. She is knowledgeable, diligent, focused, accurate, professional, warm, and courteous.
Dr. King is professional, patient and thoughtful. He does not drop the ball or push aside symptoms… he considers the whole picture and is quick to recommend tests and specialists. I have never felt rushed which in this day and age is a miracle. Aside from being a good doctor he is kind and just seems to be a good person.
The new check in , with every department queuing in one line at the entrance to the building, with only one receptionist sent me through the roof!!!!!!!!!!!! Totally ridiculous and unacceptable.
