I am extremely disappointed by my experience with the Behavioral Health Department. As a gay Black mentally ill patient seeking help, I was met with dissmal and inadequate options . The department manager Melissa Nolke refused to speak with me or address my concerns, effectively denying me access to care through Kaiser providers I urgently needed.
