I used to work here as a new hire, and was terminated for my Ukrainian-American heritage. Some folks found fun in always going behind my back and ratting on me to the manager simply because of who I am (reasons that any new hire could work on and I was progressing). As an inclusive company which Kaiser is supposed to be and what’s going on in the world I feel ashamed to have worked there. The manager and others were highly supportive of me though.
So I came in the Emengecy department for my daughter who had a head injury on April 9,2017 around 7 pm. As soon as I walk in and go to the front desk,the nurse on the desk asked me a question that I didn't understand and then another nurse (RN) jumps out of nowhere into our conversation and with a horrific attitude asks a question like am an idiot with her eyes rolling and her voice so high as if we are miles apart and I can't hear.
