I had a stroke recently, and went to Kaiser Modesto. BIG MISTAKE! I actually had symptoms while standing in line waiting to check in. My son told them, "He is having a stroke right now!" my son is a nurse. It took several minutes to talk to the doctor, and when I told him I had a stroke, he acted like i had not. My symptoms were textbook, but he tried to suggest a combination of things that might have happened. He suggested it might have been a seizure and possible nerve issues. when in for a serious rash and was seen by a young indian doctor that was a know it all. he gave me some cream and nothing more. i left Kaiser Modesto Emergency and drove straight to Sutter Memorial Emergency and received the ;professional service that i needed. they actually brought in a dermatologist to assist in the examination, diagnosed my problem and gave me the proper treatment. oh...just to make my point...my arms, hands and my legs behind my knees had thousands of small blisters that were the result of a blood infec... read more
I spoke to a advice nurse on the telephone she recommended I go to the er because I am 15 weeks pregnant and was experiencing sharp pains on the side of my stomach. So I go and get checked in at 4:30 waited a little bit a nurse calls and checks my vitals and draws some blood then they send me to get a sonogram after that I am waiting for result for 4 in a half hours while I am naked in a hospital grown in the hallway in a bed with a needle stuck in my hand which was just totally uncomfortable and I felt totally out of place.... read more
