My husband had joint surgery today at 2:33pm and I met Dr. Falgout performing the surgery in pre-op. Dr. Falgout called me at 5:17 pm to let me know the surgery went fine. It's the first time a doctor at Kaiser has not told me in person about my husband surgery. I believe this was his 5th surgery. It's now 7:14 pm and the recovery department will not let me see my husband. I think this is how low income people are treated. I don’t know why it took me this long to leave a review, but whoever works the front desks as a receptionist is incredibly unprofessional and not trained for emergencies. I took my brother here once when he was having a panic attack and he jumped out of my car then ran into the lobby hoping to get help. I parked my car quickly and ran after my brother into the lobby only to be told by the receptionist that emergency services were on the other side of the hospital. I had surgery here with Dr. Estrada. Every single person made me feel comfortable and safe, and I'm so thankful for the care I receieved here. My deepest thanks and gratitude for the doctors, nurses, and administrators for being amazing through every step of the way! 🥰
