September 12, 2017 is a day that I will never forget. Its the day that I decided to take control of my life. I was taking two blood pressure medications, one in the morning, and one at night. I went to my primary care physician and he told me that my blood surgar levels were elevated and that I would have to start taking diabetic pills. That's when I said enough is enough. I had the gastric sleeve procedure done and let's just say the rest was history! Surgery weight 299lb Current weight 223lb
Dr. Shillingford is great! He did my gastric sleeve. Very patient answering all my questions and has a calming, low-key demeanor. Would recommend to anyone!!

I came from out of state to have Dr. Shillingford do my surgery. He bedside manner is excellent and he takes his time with answering all of your questions and explaining the operation. I had no post-op complications and he did again an excellent job!!
MY GOD, I DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO START, FROM BEGINNING TO END A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE, TODAY IN THE 60TH DAY AFTER MY FIRST VISIT WITH THE DR, 66 LBS I LOST, 40 AFTER SURGERY 45 DAYS AGO. THE BEST MONEY I EVER SPENT, WILL RECOMMEND DR SHILLINGFORD TO ANYONE.
When I had the surgery, Dr. Shillingford and his staff had the care down to a science. They anticipated everything and my comfort was their utmost concern. I saw Dr. Shillingford every day I was in the hospital, and he spent time with me answering questions, not rushing in and out just to say he was there. I highly recommend Dr. Shillingford for any type of surgery you might need.
Dr. Shillingford took his time to consult with me and answer any and all questions. He is very patient and kind and was very supportive after the surgery. I have no regrets and I'm glad that of all the Surgeons I met Dr. Shillingford is the one who put me post at ease and made me feel safe. I would recommend him a 100 times over.
I found dr. Shillingford through an online search after I had seen other doctors. I's so glad I found him!!! His office staff (Nancy and Elba) are very thorough, helpful and always get back to you as soon as they can. They answered all my questions and scheduling was a breeze! Dr. Shillingford is the nicest doctor I've ever met. He's been very patient and helpful. I had my sleeve surgery less than a month ago and already lost more than 30lbs! I wish I had done this sooner.
