I have lived at Metropolitan 13 Flats since October of 2020 and have paid my rent through monthly ACH debits from my checking account through every lease, without any issues. On June 20th 2025, I requested a Lease Modification to remove the previous joint resident, Kaftan acknowledged receipt of the signed document on June 23rd. I would give a 0 star if I could. Wouldn't move here if it was the last place to move to. No support. No call backs. Terrible management from this corporation. And I lived here for 4 years.
I have lived at Uptown 11 (formerly Stanford Townhomes) for going on 5 years. Never had a problem until they were purchased by Kaftan. I have always paid my rent on time and never had an issue until recently. I have my rent electronically drafted out of my account, when it did not come out, I called, I was told it will be taken care of. Fast forward to June 20 nothing has been resolved with me calling almost everyday. They charged me late fees. legal fees, and etc... Thieves, submitted a claim to The Guarantors for damages to apartment collected the money then sent the exact amount to collections as well. Who does that. What is wrong with this company? Lacking in morals, and ethics. Do not rent from these low lives. Update: It was resolved because I reported your company to Consumer Protection Agency and the BBB.
