My experience living at Colony Park Circle, a Kaftan community, for the past year has been amazing. In my 76 years, this is my 1st time living alone & in an apartment. As soon as I toured the unit, I was sold. I love the “Jack-n-Jill” style bathroom. The cozy little den was a treat. I am at the end of my lease June 30th and I receive a text ..are you renewing or vacating? Of course I am vacating if I have not renewed. I was told I would be charged an extra 45 days since I did not give a 45 day notice. End of lease is a notice. So I will be charged for another month of rent although I am not there. This is ridiculous to me. Do not rent from these people!! They nickel and dime you with late fees. Accounting people are so eager to start evictions during a pandemic.. stick you with late fees...I'm convinced that is how they pay their employees bonuses .
