Deceptive pricing practice. When having an injection at one of the out patient clinics they charged over $300.00 for a "room charge fee". This on top of the cost of the procedure. No mention of this until the bill arrived. What next a waiting room fee? Get an up front written estimate, as is your right.
Would not recommend anyone going to this hospital/ER. Chest pain and dypsnea does not matter to the staff. Urgent care sent my Mother there, worried about a blood clot with severe hypertension. The ER nurse stated “well her vital signs are good”… you can’t diagnose a blood clot with vital signs!
Went to the ER tonight for possible appendicitis. It turned out not to be appendicitis but my care was wonderful here. Nurse Abbie in the ER was amazing! She was so helpful, kind, caring, and made me feel comfortable. Dr. Wilfort came in and advised me it was shift change for the Dr.’s but he stayed and helped me so that I could get a CT done and get the process going instead of waiting for the next shift of Dr.’s. My grand daughter went to ER with abdominal pain and the doctor and staff were very helpful and caring. Thank you for such great care.
