My father recently had open heart surgery on expectedly at Kadlec. Unfortunately after the procedure his party went into shocked and he essentially had to be on life support and in the ICU. The staff in the ICU were amazing. He was there for 11 days before being moved to the step down floor for about 6 days. The nurses and staff there were also fantastic. They were super caring and attentive. One of the nurses from ICU even followed up with us in the step down unit to see his progress.
They completely disregard any concerns of my family’s health
Elective surgeries like hips, knees, and back surgeries, would probably be better elsewhere. No matter how well the surgeons perform, the aftercare from staff is not sufficient to prevent readmissions.The place is Trumpy, quite Trumpy. We had to deal with too many caregivers who cared more about being right than doing the right thing. We were in there last night. And it was horrible. The service they give needs a tune up. Everyone is so rude and they it make you feel like you're a inconvenience. A elderly man came in and he was talked to so rudely and the guy that checks people in was rolling his eyes. Definitely avoid Kadlec, they're ridiculous.
The most dehumanizing experience in my entire life. Complete waste of time.Plus the only thing they care about is not the health and safety of patients but money, they made it crystal clear they are only there for money. Plus they made it quite clear that mental health is not a priority for them at all.
