I think my provider Christy is great. Which is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1. Unfortunately everything else about this clinic has extremely gone downhill the last couple of years. Rude receptionists, poor communication through MyChart, can never speak to management about any concerns. Found out today they won’t see patients anymore with flu-like symptoms so you have to go to Urgent Care instead which is ridiculous. Primary Care Providers should see patients with flu-like symptoms. Waited two months for an appointment, they canceled it without telling me so when I showed up, the receptionist was incredibly rude and told me that they had called the previous day. I was told they have an opening in two days or in two months. So obviously I chose two days, Like I said, I already waited two months. Fast-forward two days, I show up, And get told my appointment is in two months.. she made if very clear it was for "Fridays the 18th" which is today. Two months from now the 18th is not on a Friday. My primary doctor is Dr. Batayola at South Richland Primary Care. He is hands down the best doctor I have ever had. He listens and sincerely cares about his patients.
Unprofessional and unhelpful. Four days before the appointment I've been waiting four months for, the receptionist calls and says the doctor is no longer accepting new patients, and I've been canceled. I was devastated, since I have a serious medical issue I've been waiting on blood tests for. I asked why I hadn't been prioritized for waiting so long and the receptionist refused to tell me. Waited over a month for an appointment and just found out a day before that it’s been canceled and have to wait another month for a reschedule. Good luck trying to get an appointment here.
