I had a consultation with Dr. Kaan and he talked me down the entire appointment. It was like he didn’t really care about the pain my back was in. He was rushing the entire appointment and just kept talking about how he had his back pain for most of his life. Very insulting as a doctor! I do not recommend!!!
Worst doctor the world has ever seen. Don’t go here. He is mean and doesn’t care about you.
I have attempted to set up an appointment for weeks now. Kat (the receptionist) initially was rude and uncaring, asking the same question over and over though I didn't have an answer. Today when I called I mentioned that setting up an appointment with Dr. Kaan has been difficult. She actually said to me (I think it's time for you to find a new physician) I will take the hint. Worst experience with medical care to date.
I had my surgery in 2017. 12 levels. I had an S curve and couldn’t work a full day. He was straight forward about the risks and what to expect after the surgery. I still have pain but it’s tolerable and manageable now and I can work full days. Dr. Kaan is not the warm and fuzzy type but when it comes to surgery his work is incredible. I agree with all the unhappy ones that reviewed. He is everything they say. Rushes through consultation, rude, doesn't like to be questioned. I would/will not recommend him to anyone. He wasn't even my personal doctors 1st choice to refer me to
