Referred to Dr Kaal from Lamont due to unknown GI issues. Dr Kaal informed me during my 40 min consultation that I had 2 diseases on my chart ( did not know this previously) and that I may have celiac. I told him I do not have these medical conditions and he dismissed me. Went to er next day as I was confused, they ran tests and I do NOT have 2 diseases( hep b&c). My father is a patient of his and the treatment that he has received is unacceptable. My father has reached out to him numerous times as his treatment plan is not working anymore but cannot get ahold of the doctor himself. The secretary says that he is very busy and will not even speak with her even because he simply does not have the time. I understand that he oversees a lot of patients but some of those patients are deteriorating while waiting for a call back for their next steps in treatment. Woke up during colonoscopy , no follow up appt given. Tried to call, nobody answers the phone or call back if you leave a message!
Tried to get a follow up appointment and was refused. What kind of doctor does that?
