The staff makes it very difficult to like this doctor. Staff is very rude, inconsiderate, and unpleasant to deal with. The wait was expected, as at any doctor's office. The doctor offers a bunch of "trial fixes" where if one prescription doesn't work, then it's down the list onto the next one. Most of them didn't work, and caused skin to turn red and become inflamed. Not worth the wait.
This doctor is excellent. Staff is friendly and efficient. No complaints at all!
Had an appt booked weeks in advance. On the day of, I called to double check the time and then arrived 5 mins early. The few patients ahead of me were taken and discharged. I waited. After 35 mins, I asked what the hold up was, as I was getting a migraine, & informed the gal at the desk.She said just a few mins, then escorted me to the inner room. Waited again til nurse came. Excellent! After my son had his finger treated 3x's by regular phycian, Dr. Chima took one look, diagnosed immediately and treated in the office. My son is only 14 and she and her assistant made him feel very compfortable. Extremely knowledgable. Did not wait to long to get appointment. Going to her today for myself for a check up!
Dr. Chima is a lovely and compassionate person. She has a quick speaking style but takes the time to examine you thoroughly, explains everything in detail about your treatment plan and is an excellent diagnostician. Both my husband and I go to her and have referred others, as well. The total body exam she conducts is thorough and her manner puts you at ease during this type of examination. Staff is rude. Impossible to get an appointment. Dr. Chima speaks in very "high" language--she throws around extremely large medical language and speaks very quickly. She comes off a bit condescendingly. Seems like she's rushing you out. As for medical care, she does lots of trials of different things which made my face more irritable and actually painful.
She is very knowledgeable and does a detailed exam. I really feel like I can trust her and she will answer any questions that you may have in great detail. She makes you feel totally comfortable and her staff is very nice.
Initial visit was good. Body exam was most thorough I've ever had. Ability to answer my questions was good. Didn't feel rushed. Rec to me by my primary....his family goes to her. Very pleased with her treatment and will continue with her.
