He will drag your case out for months, and then years, and never get a resolution, so he can drag out your case and continue to Bilk you and drain your finances. He doesn't want your case to end, because then the cash flow continues, and so he will file one motion after another, and then put a judgement lien against you! it's all smoke and mirrors....and he has no moral compass. Mr. Duplicity wrote the book on how to become morally and financially bankrupt.
Please be aware of this firm.. had to take my ex back to court for custody issues.. all Mr Kantaras’s firm did was file motion after motion delaying the hearings.. wanted counseling for the children... delays, delays. Money money shelled out. My case got passed around to 3 different lawyers because of the huge turnover with lawyers there. It was disastrous!!
Disastrous delays, constant staff changes-errors filed and numerous incessant calls & emails for money on a twice weekly basis. Flee from this firm very fast! Don’t expect them to keep track of facts you have to constantly be repeating. He emailed the night before a hearing asking if I wanted him there, then didn’t know answers to the Judge’s questions. What a waste of time & money with my child waiting out of state for a very long time since 4/2018 while he stalls for nothing!
Fraud. Please careful if hiring this attorney. He will leave you hire and dry. I thought you could trust your attorney but you can’t. He is only after one thing is your money . I had him for 18 months and charge me over 70;000.00 . And after that I still haven’t got my ex husband retirement accounts. He never filed a Qdro. When I went back to him to get he wanted to charge me 2,000.00 . For his incompetent. Really?
Overall a bad experience. Extremely high priced and little in the way of results. Constant stalling so that the case drags on and the firm can make more money. When I could no longer afford legal fees and requested to stop services, I was told not to worry and that I could “pay them back over time, even if it took ten years” … after which they put a lien on the account. This law firm, charges a la carte: the assistants/secretary (such as $80.00/hour for typing a motion), copies @ $.25/copy, the paralegal @ $200.00 all of which does not include the attorney's fees which is over $300/hour. I believe that the firm is handling too many cases. I can't justify paying $80.00 for a legal assistant which you can only assume is a legal assistant.
