Dr. Wasserman's the most brilliant, accessible, conscientious, up to date on current therapies & compassionate doctor. He listens attentively & is extraordinarily patient & kind. For emergencies, he is remarkably and unusually immediately available. I've been his patient for more than 15 years. Two & 1/2 yrs ago, I moved to the NY area, but it never occurred to me to change to a local doctor. I travel to remain his patient bc there's no one smarter in this field than Dr. Wasserman.
I have been seeing dr wasserman for 4 years. He has truly given me my life back. I was really at the end of my rope. With his knowledge, compassion and willingness to REALLY listen, I have become the person I was many many years ago before narcotics. He is an outstanding doctor!
Dr. Wasserman saved my life. My pain was so severe, I did not want to live anymore. He has provided treatment not only for pain, but a spectrum of related disorders, such as mood and sleeping. He is at the leading edge of his field, and he treats symptoms aggressively to the point of best result. He no longer prescribes the oxy drugs or morphine, he has put me on Suboxone, which I find more effective, tolerate much better. Not an alternative physician, though he does provide referrals as needed.
Dr. Wasserman SAVED MY LIFE!!! I cannot stress that enough. TRULY. With caring attentiveness, respect, and a genius understanding of chronic pain, Dr. Wasserman has developed With Me a mix of medications and herbal supplements, and I can happily now report that debilitating, constant pain is no longer my complete reality! My bed is no longer my best friend, my house is Clean, and my children and I enjoy happy activity and outings again.
If you have chronic pain whether it be migraines or pain from interstitial cystitis Dr Wasserman is the doctor who will listen and will work with you until your pain is under control . I have been treated by him since 2001 and he has changed my life . My pain at that time was so severe And I now live a healthy happy life .
I have a complex spinal condition with multiple surgeries that has resulted in continuous pain. Dr. Wasserman is the most educated pain management doctor that I know of. His and my goal is to manage my pain and do so effectively without the use of pain killers like percocet. If you want to manage your pain then see Dr. Wasserman. If you want pain meds for the sake of the high, you don't want Dr. Wasserman and in fact you might have a true addiction problem. Dr. Wasserman is the best!
Dr. Wasserman has been my pain management physician for 7 years. He is extremely knowledgeable about the pharmacology of all the medications that he uses and is up-to-date on the newest treatments available and clearly knows the literature inside and out. Every time I have had a problem he has helped me through it and if I had a question I was able to get in touch with him and he always called me back to discuss something as simple as the interactions of an antibiotic with my meds. Dr Wasserman is the doctor to see if you live in chronic pain & ready to get off the opioids & learn alternatives to managing your chronic pain. January 2015 I was referred to Dr Wasserman because after injuring my back & SI joints in 2004 I was consuming more oxymorphone in 1 day than any doctor prescribe for 1 week to control my chronic pain. After meeting Dr W & with the love & care of my family, I successfuly detoxed off oxymorphone and, with a sober head, learned to manage my pain.
Dr Wasserman is an exceptional physician and a special person. He is always on the cutting edge of medical advances and takes a holistic approach to care. It is apparent that he truly wants to help you-- consistently empathetic, kind and creative in his approach. I have seen him for many years and regard him as a friend. He responds quickly to emergency situations and his assistant is the best. I recommend him without reservation!
