I would to thank Dr. Risma for his excellent care in performing my recent cataract surgery. I was truly amazed at the difference in my vision after the procedure. Dr. Risma and his staff at the office and hospital are a credit to their professions. I would recommend Dr. Risma to anyone who needs these type of services.
Having not been to an opthalmologist for 30 plus years, I was very worried about the outcome of my visit. Dr. Risma and his Staff could not have been kinder. He explained things in a way I could understand before, during, and after the surgery. After having 1 surgery on Nov. 3, I could not wait to have the 2nd surgery a month later. My distance vision which had been 20/200 is now 20/20 in both eyes. Dr. Risma is a very knowledgeable, kind, caring Dr. I would and have recommended him to many.
I had my cataract surgery the end of August and 2 weeks later the second one. Dr. Risma was very kind and explained everything thoroughly at my 1st. appointment.. After I was home and read some of the risks factors, I was apprehensive about going through with the surgery. I called the office and Dr. Risma called me back and put my fears to rest. I am so glad he did, as I cannot believe how much more intense colors are, especially outside.. No more cloudiness inside either thanks to Dr. Risma.
Absolutely wonderful experience! Dr. Risma is the first doctor I've ever encountered that makes his own follow up calls to check on his patients. Such a simple gesture but as a patient, makes all the difference in the world! Thank you!
My experience with Dr. Risma has been outstanding. i was unsure about my cataract surgery until my appointment. After my surgery i wished i had done it earlier. my surgery was successful beyond my greatest expectations. my vision is better than I can remember. I will certainly recommend him to any of my friends.

I had a wonderful surgical experience for removal of my cataracts by Dr. Risma. He explained all the details with me prior to the surgeries, and I felt I was in very capable hands with Dr. Risma and his staff, as well as all the staff at Finley Hospital. He is very caring and compassionate. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing cataract surgery.
Dr Risma is a very knowledgeable caring ophthalmologist. He answers all your questions and concerns and you are not rushed. He did my cataract surgery on both eyes which was a success I would highly recommend Dr Rusma.
Dr.Risma has a very calming approach, which had me completely at ease before my cataract surgery. He did an excellent job. I had no trauma to speak of, and now my vision is repaired.
