I truly had an excellent experience getting a mortgage. I only wanted a local loan servicer, so I looked at local credit unions and banks with physical locations in town. I was very happy with my experience at FirstBank, and my local rep. However, within fifteen days of closing my loan was sold twice to out of state servicers.
