My experience with him was traumatic for me. He has problematic limitations and defenses against things that are difficult to understand. There is no excuse for that in his profession. He refused to believe me about a very big problem that two other smarter and more experienced concierge psychiatrists had no problems understanding. This was a blow to my life I couldn't afford at the time. Very saddening.
Dr Havemann is an excellent doctor. He was the first doctor I have seen in Psychiatry and has exceeded my expectations! I usually show up 15-20 mins before the start of my appointment and most of the time get taken back before my appointment time has even started. He is very laid back and personable. Dr. Havemann always makes sure that I am in involved with my plan of care. Overall, my experience with him has been nothing short of amazing!
Dr.Havemann is extremely qualified, intelligent, compassionate, patient, and a great listener. Lisa is also great and always a pleasure to talk to. Having 11 legitimate 5 star reviews is well deserved. I would rate 6 stars if I could; highly recommend.
A former lawyer, Dr.Havemann is a doctor in the broadest sense. You see immediately the difference between a physician that is in the profession for money and one who is for vocation. He’s sensible to the patient’s problems and goes beyond his technical qualifications… those that one doesn’t learn in books or school. Congratulations,doc! You honor the medical field with you expertise!
I brought my special needs adult son to see Dr. Havemann as he no longer could use his pediatric psychiatrist. We were kindly greeted by the front desk person. Our appointment went extremely well as Dr. Havemann reviewed and understood my son’s history. We came up with a great go forward plan. He is patient and kind and knowledgeable! I couldn’t have asked for a better first visit and look forward to future visits! I will highly recommend him to my friends and family!
