Best doctor ever. Very compassionate. When discussing my baby options with me upon news of my infertility diagnosis, he was very comforting. He was on call when I went into PTL and took great care of my husband and I while we waited for the transfer to UVA. I wish he could have delivered my twins. I do not think it would have been as traumatic for us if he had.
He delivered my baby boy. He was attentive, planned everything quick. Answeed all the questions.
Dr. Deaton is fantastic! He delivered my daughter, and I want him to deliver my future children too. He is down to earth, answers your questions thoroughly, and he is very patient and friendly.
Dr Deaton is very professional and has a great bedside manner. I felt like he really cared about my issues and responded promptly. I will be recommending him to my friends.

Dr Deaton is very kind, considerate, and friendly... he always takes time to listen to questions and concerns that I have. SWHC made a great decision in hiring Dr Deaton.
Most of the staff is friendly. The scheduling is AWFUL they should rethink their openings. For someone who has an appointment at 1 gets there at 12:50 and still waits AT LEAST 20 minutes past the appointment to be called back. So if you've got a babysitter lined up prepare to pay them for twice as long as you would expect for an appointment.
