Good work After seeing the alterations done on my sister in law's wedding gown, I tried out Just my Size. Pleased with the results, I recommended them to a couple more friends with bridal alteration needs. The staff were friendly and honest about what could be done with each garment and how the alterations would affect the silouette. Each garment was pressed and ready for the big day.
One word... HORRIBLE I had my wedding dress altered at Just My Size because it was recommended by Trudy's Bridal - I don't understand why Trudy's would recommend Just My Size, perhaps it is the closest location to Trudy's? I had to get my wedding dress corrected THREE times and in the end it was still not right, the ribcage area of the dress was still bunched up, they told me that was the best they can do and that it was normal.. which is bull because I have never seen a wedding dress bunch up on the side. Not a nice place 1. experience was not even close to good. The floors/carpets are not good for wedding gowns - dirty and easily snagging of the dresses. The assistance is limited. I was told they cound not find my dress - they lost it in the back room. They found it, but it was an unnecessary scare. 2. I was recomended by Trudys - a nice place. This should not be one of Trudy's recommendations. 3. They are fairly priced, but if they mess up in the fitting process, they make you pay twice!! or more! 4. NO, I do not suggest ot... read more
Great for normal alterations I was referred to just my size for my bride's maid dress by a bridal boutique. To do simple alterations it cost 100 dollars. Being my frist bride's maid's dress, I assumed this was normal. I was wrong. Everyone else only paid between 30-50 dollars for their alterations. But for pants and skirt hems as well as normal clothing alterations they were 10 bucks to normal prices. I think they will screw you if you're doing anything wedding, but if you're there for normal alterations this place is awesom... read more
How does this place stay in business? My experience with "Danielle" was horrible.I called to see if I could set up an appointment with her. I arrived on time for the appointment and waited for about seventeen minutes while she sat on the phone just staring at me. She never greeted me or asked if I could wait. What a waste of money and time! Don't ever bring anything here to get altered. Trudy's bridal recommended Just my Size for my maid of honor and bridesmaids dresses, what a disaster that was. The straps on my maid of honors dress never got altered so when we took it back to ask them to fix them they told us straps are not included in altering. My maid of honor had her entire dress altered but the straps aren't included... go figure? So we paid more money to get the straps fix and when we got it home and she tried it on not on... read more
