Last month, my SUV started running funny. Hubs thought it was the spark plugs, so we painstakingly changed them out (we originally had no idea you needed a special tool to do this). But, our car ran worse! Next idea was the coil packs. Switched them out, and car will no longer run. The not running issue was related to the fuel module which Justin diagnosed/repaired very quickly.
