This hip little restaurant and brewpub has taken post-modernism to the extreme by adopting an original, if not heretical, approach to its décor. Inside you will find pews, fixtures, and other bits and pieces from a local Berkeley church. But sit back, relax, and enjoy one of its three dozen beers on tap, and nibble on gourmet sandwiches like roast chicken, and mozzarella and basil, as well as freshly baked pizzas. Local bands are featured on Thursday through Saturday nights.

The restaurant is beautiful and well ubicated. We arrived here excited to try some vegan pizzas but we felt very dissapointed to find they charge an extra fee for the "vegan cheese", when I asked to the waitress why we must to pay more for eating vegan there? she just said, because cow cheese is cheaper than nut cheese...how the process to rape a cow, to steal her baby, to maker suffer, to taker her milk, to put antibiotics and other quemicals on it, to process it became cheaper just to soak and blend some nuts??? so, for th... read more
