Outstanding chicken fried steak... the best in Colorado Springs by far...wonderful place to have a family dinner from the cole slaw to the apple butter and biscuits
Easter dinner was delicious. Our five year old ate 2 pieces of chicken and three biscuits all dipped in the scrumptious apple butter. The cherry pie was perfect too. We have a new Easter tradition, eating at JVR!
Everything was perfect from the welcome to our personal server to the family style served delicious dishes! No waiting on our meals, and thanks for the seconds! We found pottery and a card from local artists at the gallery next door. Great experience! Thanks a bunch!

My family and I came here to celebrate my birthday! The staff was so kind and helped make the occasion even more special! The atmosphere there is unlike any restaurant I've ever eaten at; even though you're dining out, you're still at home! Our meal was brought out to us so quickly and it was just amazing!
