I joined the Junior League in Fayetteville, AR and came to Madison as a transfer. I initially joined in Madison as a way to meet new people and learn about volunteer opportunities and have now been a member in Madison for 4 years. Their mission is to promote voluntarism, develop the potential of women and improve the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Junior League of Madison is a wonderful organization that serves the community and empowers women to become trained volunteers and civic leaders. If you're new to the Madison area, or simply looking to get involved in the community, I encourage you to consider joining. I've been involved with JLM since 2013 and it's been a truly rewarding experience!
I've been a member of Junior League since 2009. I've met some wonderful friends and gained invaluable leadership experience as both a committee member and now a board member. It's a great organization in Madison for women & I only look forward to JLM's future impact on our community!
