I cannot say enough wonderful things about the birth center! We found out our little one was breech at 34 weeks. After trying everything we could to get her to turn, we accepted that she was happy exactly where she was, and we began to plan a caesarean. Amazing..I gave birth there and they exceeded all my expectations
I had both of my children at JFHBC as well as prenatal care. The midwives and staff are wonderful, and the birthing environments are so homey and comfortable (as comfortable as one can be while pushing out a child). My husband and I also attended their birth class and we both felt the experience was invaluable. It gave him the tools and confidence to be a great birth partner, and the knowledge we both gained took away much of the anxiety we had a first-time parents. The more I meet with the midwives at the birth center, the more impressed I am with their knowledge and skills. They are also respectful towards my husband, which I feel is not commonplace in medical offices concerning pregnancy. I am also impressed with the resources they offer: a very useful library, a store of clothes for moms and babies, not to mention the functions they provide for parents and babies to learn and meet one another.
I had my little darling at the birth center, best experience of my life. Knowledge is power.. I felt at ease knowing all the variables that could happen. Pregnancy, birth and aftercare were all taken care of with outstanding level of attention and care. Thank you birth center!!
