I truly love this apartment building! Whenever I visit my son, I question myself why don't I live here! We literally take steps out the door to one of the coolest downtown's ever where there are tons of restaurants and bars and street fairs and bakeries and shops open all the time! The building is beautiful and they allow dogs! They have a nice exercise equipment area and a secure place to get your mail and packages. Despite the fact that there are many dogs in the building, the office and cleaning staff make it one of the best dog buildings I have ever seen. It's managed by a group of terrific people (next door is theirs, too) who treat this as their personal priority and they have all been there from the start. The Office administrator treats everyone well, addresses all concerns with consideration, and I have never heard her say an unkind thing about anyone in the building no matter how difficult the situation. I've been a tenant at the Junction Flats for almost two years now. It's on the smaller side of apartment buildings in the West Seattle Junction, and so it's likely not as popular or frequently reviewed as some other communities. Regardless if I renew, I figured I'd leave a review. I believe the building opened up in 2017, and I am the second tenant in my unit. Spoke with an extremely uncouth and rude woman named Dana, who refused to answer any questions about the apartment, including what the property management group was! She asked me if I was interested in the apartment or I was doing a survey. She mentioned apartments were income restricted and by law, she is supposed to reveal what the restrictions are!
