Usually we like this place but went in tonight 45 mins before closing and wanted ice cream. First off, the girl working walked up to us at the counter and said, “what is it?” I ignored the rudeness and asked for 4 chocolate cones, she said they closed the ice cream machines down already, and when I replied back that it wasn’t even 10 o’clock yet, I was told that they close them down 30 mins before closing time. it wasn’t even 30 mins before closing yet.. and as I was leaving, another young employee was standing in there smok... read more
Love the food everybody boast about their chicken they say it's better than anyone around here better than Hardee's better than churches better than KFC and their burgers weather your little bit hungry they got a small one and if you a lot hungry they got that big old one

The best burgers in town / fast service and friendly staff
We spied your sign on our way to Bubba Gandy Seafood Market and pulled in on our way back to the Cool Springs area. We shared a Jumbo with jalapeños and each had a fried chicken-wing. Best burger we’ve tasted in years! Took us back to the way we remember them in the ‘50s-‘60s. Plus the wings were mighty righteous, too. We’ll be back!
Absolutely the best burger you can get in middle TN by far.
I have been eating here for over 40 years. The Johnny burger is the best. I have eaten burgers all over the USA and none even come close to Jumbo House
