Dr. Cortes has been my personal physician for approximately 11 years. He takes very good care of me. He listens, questions me and decides what’s the best route to take. I can say that for my age I am in very good health (mentally and physically). Directly due to his pushing and nagging me about my weight, I have lost nearly 100 pounds. My diabetes has been in remission for years. I work out usually every single day. I would say that he is proud of my accomplishments.
Very nice doctor. He understood that I hadn't been to the doctor in years and I was nervous, but he was very calm, and understanding. He explained everything in detail, and made sure we were in the sqme page before moving on with my treatment.
Dr. Cortez is extremely thorough and professional. A great listener with compassion.
I was extremely impressive with Dr Cortes. He listened, asked questions to get to the root. Wasn't in a rush,got to know me. My first time coming and glad I did.

Dr. Cortez takes th time to stop an listen to patients. He examines the patient rather than just click of responses on a computer.
Julio Cortes was the only doctor that I could get into with Ambetter insurance in a timely manner. I know why. During the first visit as primary physician he suddenly walked out mid sentence ending the interview. 2nd visit lab test done, I arrived the 30 m early, waited in a room for another hour and a half. I could hear him in the hallway no apologize for the delay. I had to leave. Received a letter saying lab tests abnormalities and to find another physician.
I thought Dr. Cortes was very polite and professional. On top of his game. With no prior info on me from my family doctor in S.C. he was able to figure out what was causing me trouble. He impressed me. I am pleased to have him as my new Doctor.
Dr. Cortes took time to listen to what I had to say. He reviewed my medications and discussed what I needed given my complaints.
