He is an excellent primary care physician. He is thorough, and he is spot on with his diagnosis of your health issues. If you don’t seem to be getting better, you can contact his office and he will provide other options and or medications necessary to resolve your symptoms.
Dr Cortes is always thorough and professional. He takes time with his patients and makes sure that he understands their needs and concerns.
Fast on time service with information provided and all questions answered. Personal touch with no rush service.
Understood what I was talking about Timely for most part on time
After hour wait, AGAIN, I had to leave.. called back week later for RX refill and he refused. Said he didn’t treat what I had and To see another Dr! Talk about arrogant! Uncaring.. Oh my, do I miss Dr Remler…He treated me for 25+yrs Hated to leave South Coast but….. Took me forever to find another Dr in these crazy times but I did.. Extremely happy and never wait!

If you value your time and don’t want to wait well after your appointment time this is not your place. I sat and waited for 56 minutes while watching 20-30 who showed up after I did go back. Finally I had enough, and asked what was going on and then for my copay back and left. The staff could’ve cared less or I would have probably stayed. This may be the norm at this establishment, but my old PCP whom Dr Cortes was to replace would have never allowed this.
He lacks bedside manner & compassion. He speaks in an accusatory manner & gives no time before jumping to his own assumptions. I wouldn’t recommend this “doctor” to treat my dog, let alone another human.
If an office cannot manage its schedule they should not make schedules. My time is as valuable as the doctors. I've waited over two and a half hours for the last two appointments I will never come back. They don't give you the results of your test. You have to call back and ask for them.
