Ms. I have never had a good experience with them. I have over looked it before but it seems to me they train their staff to say," no i cannot help you." to every questioned asked. Besides being over priced they are rude and in different. They act as if they are doing you a favor by supplying service. If you do not have an appointment you will not get your pet in to be groomed no matter how early your there. They will just give you the, standard,"no I cannot help you.'' May God continue to bless this Veteranarian The lengths this staff went for my pet was unbelievable. The kindness, sensitivity and caring is unbelievable. Been going here on and off since 1978 approx. From the groomers to the office staff to the Doctors.........I could not ask for more. Greedy Folks These folks are greedy! I had an appointment for my dog's dental cleaning. The vet's office called me the evening before the appointment and canceled. A few weeks later I received a $30 bill for being a no show. I refused to pay the bill since I wasn't the one who canceled. After going round and round with the belligerent office manager, I received a letter in the mail telling me that I could no longer use their services. I say to that, NO PROBLEM!!!
CHEAP SERVICE AT AN EXPENSIVE PRICE!!!! A few months ago, I boarded my dogs at the Animal Walk for the weekend. Two days after i picked them up, i noticed sores all over their skin. I immediately called and asked for advice. I was told that they probably contracted a fungal skin infection, but because it was more than 24 hours since they boarded, i would have to pay for the exams, testing and treatment. Clean!!!! It it so very hard to find a clean vet office around here. But I was so pleased to finally find one. Their waiting room was also very animal friendly. The staff was so friendly with their little pets running around. We did wait quite a while though for our appointment. Good clean service is worth the wait. I won't be changing vets anytime soon. This is the best so far.
fleas We boarded our puppy there for a few days. It was NOT cheap. The fleas she came home with cost us hundreds to get rid of :(
Tragic Ending The vets here misdiagnosed my springer for years and years and years. They always told us the outbreaks of oozing sores every few months were flea allergies, They would treat the sores to the tune of $150-$200 a visit but it would come back in a matter of months. One visit to a different vet and one simple thyroid test showed a severely under active thyroid. While on thyroid medicine he never had another outbreak of sores. greedy I feel this vet's office cares only about the almighty dollar! I was just turned away from seeing the vet over a dispute of $20 for a no show appointment for grooming which wasn't mine since I don't get my dogs groomed there. The office staff didn't care that my dog was in pain they just wanted $20 dollars for something I never did. I instead found a wonderful office that cares about my animals as such as I do.
The Best in Jacksonville!! I have a shih-tzu, Molly, with horrible skin allergies! Dr. Maria Guzman spent so much time with us explaining the potential causes of her skin allergies and how we could try and pinpoint Molly's specific allergy. She was very thorough and I felt she truly cared about finding some relief for our sweet girl! We began a food trial and found that Molly was allergic to chicken!?! I would recommend the caring Doctors and staff to any and everyone! I trust them completely!!
