I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Julien Lanoue of Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery in Tampa, FL. If you’re looking for a precise, minimal “plastic surgeon–level” scar—especially in a visible or sensitive area—this may not be the right provider. I had a very small mole removed from my neck, and the result was far from what I expected. The scarring is noticeable enough that, as a woman in my early 30s, I’m often asked if I have a hickey on my neck. I’m extremely disappointed with the outcome and wish I could give zero stars. This dermatologist is amazing! I had to have a cyst removed from my forehead yesterday and he and his nurse Aisha (who was working in his USF office traveled from Orlando to help with the staff) were kind, knew exactly what they were doing working as a team. He explained everything in a way I could understand what was happening, how to care for my recovery time, and made sure I had a follow up appointment for the following week before I left the office.
