My two children have been long time patients of Dr. Tumma! We were introduced to her by a good friend and nurse in the area- and she was the first PED we saw when we brought both of our daughters home after birth. She has been an attentive and thorough doctor (ex: providing invaluable knowledge and calmness during the COVID pandemic!) with a strong passion for young kids. Always wonderful with all five of my kids.
I am writing this as a 23 year old woman who had seen Julie Tumma as a child. I had seen her when I first came down with symptoms of a then undiagnosed invisible illness. She had gaslit me, as a young child, that I was lying about my symptoms or that I had an eating disorder that I was being dishonest about. Hearing this as a child was psychologically damaging. I am leaving this review on behalf of my friend who saw this Dr. years ago. She asked my friend if she was eating normally and my friend said yes. She didn’t believe her, so she wrote down on her chart that she had bulima and was throwing up her food behind her mom’s back. Julie Tumma is extremely unprofessional and should have her liscence revoked, or at the very least be fired. Would not recommend her to my worst enemy.
Not a good customer service at all...
