I suffered with a migraine for two days because Dr. Johnson failed to read the prescription request that I put in on the patient portal. I made several phone calls and escalated the matter to several nurses. Dr. Johnson failed to read the patient portal with the medication I requested (in which she previously prescribed this year). My partner went here a month or so ago for a physical. When she arrived she was told that the doctor wasn’t doing physicals that day and to reschedule for another day. That appointment was today. When my partner arrived Dr. Johnson told her again that she wasn’t doing physicals. I mean really what are you doing if you can’t give a simple physical and further more why schedule people for physicals if you don’t do them. I have been a patient of Dr. Johnson for a few years, and she has been great. She is very caring, thorough, and attentive. She is personable and professional, and she cares about me as a person and a patient.
Just had my first appointment with Dr. Johnson and it was a wonderful experience. I have been looking for a PCP for a few years now and am so happy to have found her. She was warm, thoughtful, easy-going and efficient. She quickly got to the issues at hand, without a sense of feeling rushed. I was in and out, with all my concerns addressed, next steps outlined, and feeling confident for future connections. You know it is a good sign when you're looking forward to going to the doctor!
Dr. Johnson Emory is my mother's PC. Just like my other Emory Doctors, I found her to be very helpful and interested in her patient's well being. On one of my mother's appointment I was running late picking up my mother at Dr. J's new location, by the time I got there a little after 5pm, my mom had a new friend in the lobby. She is also asking me when do we go back to visit Dr. J. (smh)!
