I am making perhaps a last attempt to establish a better contact or relationship with Dr. Julie Asari. She became my PCP after former Dr. Mina Ganapathy who was my friend and doctor retired. I was really irritated after my first visit with Dr. A. because she sat with her back to me working on her computer for the whole visit. One star for the front and nurse are very nice and make me feel welcome. Dr is another story. She asked simple questions and when I answered told her my situation, 2 stupid questions were asked by her 1st you think you're going to die from...? What do you want to hear to make you feel good? Dang! What is this so if I tell her what I want to hear is she going to lie to me just to make me feel better if anything is wrong with me? This what running through my mind. C'mon! Her tone is very condescending. She doesn’t even listen to what you try to say to her because she has her own agenda and wants to just push forward with it at all costs. Doesn’t explain things clearly and refuses to do additional testing. Gives basic responses if you ask a question while talking down to you, as if you asked something so ridiculous it wasn’t even worth answering. Not thorough at all during visits. Not recommended for anything mental health related. The gaslighting that occured in my appointment with my already diagnosed illness (that I've been treating for years) was disheartening. It has been years since I experienced a doctor who didn't believe, or acted to not believe, my diagnosed symptoms. The lack of care to get previous medical records from my previous provider and then the lack of accountability for never following up to get them shows great incompetence to treat new/current patience. Every visit expect to wait at least 35 to 45 minutes because she’s always late. Don’t expect them to take you when you’re in pain or need you because she’s too overscheduled find another clinic.
