Dr. Thompson is the best doctor I've ever had! I've switched back and forth between Kaiser and Providence insurance due to job changes, and every time I'm back with Providence, I return to Dr. Thompson. I've recommended her to other people and will continue to. She's got a great, light energy, she's an excellent listener, takes time to explain things and treatments and is sure you understand your plan of care. I can't say enough great things about her!
Dr. Thompson and nurse Alma are great and listening and responding to my concerns. The reason I am leaving her care is that her communication to me is hindered by her receptionist "Christine," who takes delight in messing with me over the phone when I need a straight answer about my care.This has happened multiple times. Christine will not relay messages and refuses to have my doctor call me back when I'm on my way to the emergency room! This is unacceptable. This is why I am changing doctors.
Dr. Thompson is a good listener. I think she is logical and very experienced. She has a pleasant personality and I really like her.
She advised me to do yoga breathing exercises to cure my shortness of breath. The cardiologist disagreed and prescribed an aortic valve replacement. That was 2 1/2 years ago. I've never been back.
