Tamales not as good as they once were ,Masa was hard.
We live Julian's..... My husband and I have taken our children there since they we little. We stop by whenever we are in the neighborhood... Always happy to see Dorothy and her husband there.. Julians is authentic Mexican food. It's also a bakery, a tortilleria, and they make tamales too. It's my home away from home, East L.A.
Straight GREAT.... No better, spicier, more flavorful salsa in the world (as far as I know)....Tacos Dorados=amazing.... All the codes and tortillas made on site... The service is stellar... Same family, still owns and operates employees stay for years and are really great people!
