Dr Irwin is insightful, caring and professional. I now see Donna Bowers and she is good too. Highly recommend this practice
For years, I've put up with the sour, scowling front desk staff, in order to see Donna Bowers, but today I had the pleasure of encountering office manager, Teresa. I have been dealing with constant pelvic pain for 7 months. Today it is so bad I can barely move. I called to reschedule and was told it was a $50 cancellation fee. I know I can't make it. Tried 3 different medications that did not work. Never even saw the Dr. The PA only prescribed what they get paid for. No confidence in their office. They don't care. Not good for someone with depression
I have used Dr. Irwin/Donna Bowers for several years. I never wait more than 5 or 10 mins for my appt, and I am always treated with respect by all staff members. Initially, we could not figure out the right medication for my MDD, then Donna suggested the GeneSight test, and it showed which meds work best with my genetics. I have to say Nicole is a good provider. The office manager ruins the whole psychiatry experience. It makes you want to never go back. I was told this prior to referral. They were right.

I strive to ensure all of my patients receive quality care. I have never heard a complaint regarding office staff. The office manager is located in the back of the building and does not have direct contact with pts. So I am not sure who you are complaining about. I would gladly address any issues that are brought to my attention. If your "whole office experience was ruined" based on limited interaction with office staff, i would highly recommend that you remain in therapy and treatment.
I have been seeing Dr. Irwin for 9 years and she has helped me tremendously. I have never waited more than 10 minutes past my appointment time, if I come early she can usually get me in early, and she is very responsive to my needs. We did a GeneSight DNA test and I think it saved my life.
Dr Irwin will gladly take your $300 for an exam but she does not know the rules And regulations used by VA, and the VA representative that ‘advises her’ does not understand the regulations required by VA for a clear and concise exam for rating purposes. If you ask for a clarification for her exam to prevent you from having to attend another VA exam she will refuse. She will have her secretary reach out to you to tell you she will not provide additional information needed by the VA to rate your claim. Save your money, this do... read more

I have been seeing Dr Irwin for 10 yrs. She is always available. Over the years she has become someone I trust. I trust her judgement. She has saved my life.
