Hands-down, the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Went in there with my teenage kids to get a healthy snack, and came out absolutely shaking with fury! The manager took our order, and it was bizarre from the beginning. I'm going to use the pronoun "they" for this individual, because none of us could figure out if it was a man or woman. So they took our order, and seemed belligerent about everything. I asked A very basic question about the protein content of the drink, and it was obvious the person had no knowledge of their nutrition content whatsoever. Then they read the order back to me, and had the size of the drink wrong, so I politely corrected it. When we got the drinks, the sizes were still wrong, so I mentioned that I had ordered a different size. After that, things just got weird. The manager started insulting us, telling me to get out of the store or he/she would call the police because we were harassing them. Interestingly, they commented that my son looked like "Marty McFly, and that we should just be wearing hats." I seriously stood there with my jaw dropped to the floor, because I was starting to think that this individual was just mentally deranged. It made no sense to me! Only after leaving, and getting in the car, did we discuss it and try to go over what this person was talking about. Now I get it: my son, who is an elite level figure skater, was wearing a red vest he earned while competing at an international skating event. All I can think, is that this person thought we were conservatives, and the hat reference was saying that we should be wearing MAGA hats! The vest has an American flag on it (as well as other flags, but I guess that didnt matter). We were happy to find a juice bar close to the new ice rink that's opened up in the Great Park. Many of our colleagues in the figure skating world will be training at the new rink this year, and this is the kind of place that skaters are always looking for. However, we will be certain to let everybody know that this location is hands-down the worst place they could choose. We will encourage them to travel a extra few miles to find a place that isn't hideous to its customers.
