Dr Chang is dishonest. I wanted to get my teeth whitened and she suggested the ZOOM whitening system at a cost of $500 which is over priced based on subsequent research. No explanation was given prior to administering it and I was given the waiver to sign after the procedure was already completed and was in pain. The formula was leaking onto my gums and since it contains peroxide, the burning sensation was terrible. An assistant who was not knowledgeable was doing the procedure. they bill for items that were never serviced and never send out ststements and claim the call for your next appointment but never do. very poor and disorganized admin.
My husband and I visited Judy Chang DDS for 1 year and were appalled at the low quality of the services we received. On top of giving bad service, Chang and her staff were dishonest about tacking on $100's worth of unsubstantiated charges. Chang's cleanings were not thorough, though she charged each of us an extra $20 at each cleaning for "Dental Hygiene Instructions." Highly recomend the office of Dr. Judy Chang [d/b/a West Hill Dental]. Very happy with the esthetic results. The Dr. is highly skilled, gentle, and very personable. They provide implant, root canal, crown and bridge, porcelain restorations, and many other services that my family experienced. *****
Its hard to find a dentist, especially one that you can trust. I visited Dr. Chang once to repair a botched job from another dentist, and I thought she was great. Unfortunately, this positive impression has been repeatedly offset by a terrible desk staff. Calls will go un-answered, the Doctor will close early, and they will notify no one, and overall rudeness and lack of care reminds me of my days in New York City, when I was dealing with dentists who just don't care for your repeat business.
